She has also been on the Tata Jagriti Yatra in 2010 and volunteered with and studied animal shelters & charities across India. Dr Arundhati Nair

Dr Arundhati has a Masters in Veterinary Gynecology from Bombay Veterinary College. She is currently employed with the Govt. of India as a Livestock Development Officer. She uses her professional skills to the maximum extent in driving PAL forward on the medical and strategic front. She loves large animals and is the best large animal veterinarian you will find. She can even manage to perform a surgery in the dreariest of conditions. For all her work in rural India, she has also received the Nari Puraskar award from the rural community.
Dr Hemant Thange
A small animal and avian veterinarian by profession and proprietor of PetVets Veterinary Specialty in Thane city, he always makes time for the stray animals which need medical help only too often. He is also the Secretary of the foundation and makes sure that any sick animal that comes to him goes home well! He is one of the few veterinarians you will find who spends a lot of his time bettering the life of stray and pet animals genuinely.
Dr Viveka Vatwani
Chief of Operations
A homeopath by profession, she is an extremely compassionate individual and loves working with animals. Viveka is currently the CEO of the NGO and is in charge of all day to day operations of the organization. No matter how bad the situation is, be it crawling under cars, climbing on the roofs of the chawls to spot injured animals or having animals bite and injure her, she does not back down until the animal gets the care it needs.
Lavina is the pillar of accountability of the organisation. For disciplined growth, every organisation needs such a person. PAL got lucky with Lavina being the accounts manager and much more! She is a devoted animal lover and doesn’t mind if the animals munch on some of her documents while she is at work. She makes sure to do all her work with them. She also loves to fuss over all the rescued dogs and gift them fancy collars.
Radha is a highly experienced professional in the CSR space and is a trustee of the PAL Foundation. She brings to the team her expertise in knowing and understanding the sector and providing the right guidance to the team. She also uses her skills to organize the fundraising activities at PAL and makes sure the foundation runs without any hindrances.
Vijay is currently studying to become a Livestock Supervisor. He is very passionate about animals and making sure that they get the treatment and care required.
Manaswini is a very talented photographer who has spent many years clicking our rescued animals. Her photography has truly changed the way adoptions take place. Photography is her passion and she uses her skills to get abandoned, homeless animals loving homes. She has created portfolios for over 200 animals for PAL so far. She gives the animals a fighting chance at a good life.
Alongside being a die-hard animal lover, she is also a Human Resource professional who is an MBA with a masters in Psychology. Even though she has moved to the UK, she continues to remain the honorary Head of Adoptions at the Pet Owners and Animal Lovers Foundation. Neha has set up various processes and checks for adoptions for the foundation which make sure that the animals live a healthy and happy life post-adoption. She strongly believes in understanding a family well and giving them the right animal as a pet. Neha supports the organization remotely even today.
Nandini Kannan is the youngest volunteer that PAL has. She is a very enterprising young girl and helps out with all activities of the organisation. She is very artistic and has helped raise funds for PAL by making various merchandising items. She is learning field work and how to handle animals better so that she can reach out to more animals in need! She wishes to grow up and become a veterinarian.
Arvind is a very compassionate individual and believes in making the world a better place through all the choices he makes in life. He has also helped PAL with strategy and fundraising. He has also helped with branding of the organization.
